In this role you will support customers across the power system lifecycle, including startup, commissioning, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergency response. You will manage small projects independently and lead field service teams on larger initiatives, while generating timely and accurate service reports on work performed, product performance, and warranties. Additionally, you will provide recommendations for improved electrical systems and cultivate strong relationships with customers, team members, and partners.
You will utilize digital tools for remote work, such as laptops, iPads, infrared cameras, Google Glasses, and Microsoft Teams. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and three years of experience testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems, or a trade‑school credential with seven or more years of experience. An associate degree or higher, including a bachelor’s degree in engineering, is preferred, along with experience performing power‑quality measurements, troubleshooting, analysis, and working with protective relays.
Applicants must reside within a 75‑mile radius of Boydton, VA or Richmond, VA; active‑duty military personnel are exempt from this geographic limitation. No relocation assistance is provided.
