Memphis Water/Wastewater Engineering Project Manager

Description

• Manage all concept and design aspects of small to medium multidiscipline planning and design projects or large, routine projects, and serve as design manager on large, complex multidiscipline planning and design projects.
• Track the financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with the team to ensure that work is completed within the agreedupon scope, schedule, and budget parameters.
• Manage technical components of pursuits and work with marketing team to produce high quality pursuit documents
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop contract drawings and documents in accordance with HDR’s quality standards.
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents in conjunction with other staff
• Manage construction phase services, including submittal, shop drawing, and RFI review, coordination, and correspondence.
• Participate in reviews with various regulatory agencies to ensure code compliance.
• Establish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
• Work with the Business/Accounting Manager and/or Project Coordinators for project reviews and with company management as needed
• Coordinate workload throughout the entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
• Coordinate the work of engineers and balance team planning throughout the project's development.
