The Field Specialist – Drilling Services (Measuring while Drilling) role invites you to work with cutting‑edge drilling technology and collaborate with teams to solve complex problems. As a member of the Drilling Services Team you will provide resolutions to moderately complex well‑site issues where analysis of data and situational factors is required.
You will develop and demonstrate proficiency in delivering Logging While Drilling (LWD) services at the well site. Responsibilities include reporting on drilling services portfolio activities, applying knowledge of wellbore placement, collision‑avoidance practices, and MWD activities, and completing advanced technical training and well‑site development programs.
The position also requires building capability in Directional Drilling, including hydraulics, torque and drag simulations, and supervising best practices for BHA handling. You will work with technologies related to well construction such as hydraulic expandable reamers and circulation subs, while fostering continuous improvement.
To succeed, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) and have prior experience in drilling services. Strong teamwork, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to varied on‑site customer working patterns are essential.
