Senior Project Engineer

Description

• Assist in cost-effective subcontract and material purchases
• Work with Superintendents to develop safety plans and to implement safety procedures
• Provide the client with value-engineered solutions when applicable
• Support job site construction and experience with self-perform work.
• Assist in estimating and establishing budgets and contract price
• Set up and implement job procedures and techniques to assure timely buyout, shop drawing approval, and material delivery
• Assist Project Manager in maintaining the project schedule and budget
• Manage project deliverables

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Healthcare, Life Science, or Commercial General Construction Industry and will be responsible for helping lead successful Large-Scale Construction Projects over $100 M.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.

• Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or similar
• Experience and comfort performing Project Engineer’s responsibilities
• 4+ years as a Project Engineer managing large-scale projects for a reputable Commercial or Healthcare Focused General Contractor
• Experience working on Large-Scale Healthcare, Life Science, Commercial, or Office Construction Projects
• Able to perform all essential Senior Project Engineer job responsibilities
