Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager will oversee all phases of commercial and multi-family construction projects across Northern California, from preconstruction through completion. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and financial acumen to manage schedules, budgets, and teams effectively. • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate progress with clients and stakeholders
• Promote a culture of safety and quality across all project activities
• Lead project teams to ensure adherence to design, scope, budget, and timelines
• Collaborate with field superintendents to maintain job-site safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Review subcontractor invoices and vendor payments for accuracy and compliance
• Track costs, prepare progress billings, and manage cash flow for assigned projects
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change management logs
• Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, specifications, and building codes
• Oversee and approve subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive project profitability through value engineering and cost control
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, & Procore
• Ability to lead project teams and foster collaboration across departments
• Familiarity with both private and public sector construction environments
• Background in commercial and multi-family construction projects
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts effectively
• Experience with mixed-use or hospitality projects
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager overseeing ground-up and renovation projects
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout
• Understanding of pre-construction processes including estimating and buyout
• Strong understanding of construction practices, means and methods, and building systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience managing self-performed work in concrete, framing, or other trades
• Experience working with repeat clients and maintaining long-term relationships

Benefits

Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 (DOE) + bonus + profit sharing
