What you would be doing

You will be responsible for improving the performance of the asset managing day-to-day finance operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance; working closely with management and the Group Finance Team to drive informed investment decisions and strong financial outcomes.

  • Support investment transactions, due diligence, and financial modelling (DCF, IRR, NPV).
  • Oversee month-end close, statutory accounts, and tax compliance (including VAT).
  • Produce accurate management and investor reporting with insightful analysis.
  • Monitor CAPEX/OPEX against budgets and drive cost and performance efficiencies.
  • Manage property finance operations, including rent collection, payments, and cash-flow forecasting.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform investment and portfolio strategy.
  • Lead credit control and ensure liquidity for operational and capital needs.

My client, a real estate investor and developer with a combined £800M worth of assets, is currently seeking an experienced, proactive and analytical Finance Manager to manage the financial operations of some of their commercial and residential property developments.

  • Proactive, accurate, and collaborative, with a strong work ethic and commitment to development.
  • Solid knowledge of UK accounting principles, reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and Excel skills with high attention to detail.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar finance role within asset management, investment management, private equity, or real estate.
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Xero, Re-leased, MRI) beneficial.
  • Strong academic background with a numerical degree (Accounting/Finance, Economics, or Mathematics) or studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification
