The ideal candidate has 8‑12 years of experience, with prior leadership of large design engineering teams on grid substation projects in a global consultancy. Experience with HV plant design for large EHV grid substations, exposure to international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.), and previous work with grid utilities are required. Chartership or fellowship with IET, strong English communication skills, and familiarity with GIS/AIS EHV substation design are highly desirable.
- Expertise in HV plant design for large EHV grid substations
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian, Middle East codes)
- Experience with GIS and AIS EHV substation primary design
- Hold IET chartership or fellowship (or equivalent)
- Demonstrate strong oral and written English communication skills
