The Senior Planner/Scheduler role is a hybrid position, with three days per week on‑site and two days remote, supporting nuclear power generation projects.
Reporting to the project lead, the incumbent will develop and maintain integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules using Primavera P6 and proprietary tools, implement project‑control methodologies, and perform critical‑path analysis to identify corrective actions.
Additional duties include managing schedule contingencies and risks, delivering regular performance updates, supporting month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes, ensuring consistent document storage, and producing look‑ahead, actuals and quality reports for the team and client.
- Implement project controls tools and methodology.
- Develop and support schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
- Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support schedule contingency management and collaborate on risk identification.
- Provide regular project updates and report deviations from the baseline.
- Support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes.
- Maintain standardized file locations for all schedule documents.
- Produce look‑ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
- Assemble supporting documentation to meet project team and client requests.
- Analyze data and build reports to aid project monitoring and decision making.
- Interface regularly with project management to monitor schedule performance.
- Travel to client offices for project coordination meetings as needed.

Candidates must have at least seven years of relevant experience, a post‑secondary degree, strong Primavera P6 and project‑controls skills, advanced MS Excel/Access abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication; certifications such as AACE CST or PMI equivalents are valued.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, including resource loading.
- Seven or more years of project planning/scheduling experience.
- Post‑secondary graduate with strong MS Excel/Access skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Valued experience: engineering internship/co‑op in power industry, AACE or PMI certifications, or equivalent training.
