As part of a highly collaborative team—including onsite and remote engineers—you will identify root causes of test failures, develop hardware and software updates, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test reliability and production efficiency.
- Design, modify, and upgrade Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems, including hardware racks, cabling, instrumentation, and power distribution.
- Interface with leadership and technical teams to communicate findings, track progress, and maintain an actionable RAIL (Risk, Action, Issue, and Lesson Learned) plan.
- Program and automate test systems using Python, C, LabWindows CVI, and LabVIEW.
- Contribute to the design and certification processes aligned with standards such as DO-160, DO-178, and DO-254.
- Collaborate closely with Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve test-related production challenges.
- Analyze test failures, perform root cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions based on failure pareto analysis.
- Develop and update Test Requirements Documents (TRDs) from system-level specifications.
- Support, troubleshoot, and maintain factory test equipment used for production testing of avionics systems.
- Have you taken system-level requirements and developed Test Requirements Documents?
