Join WSP’s Weather Operations Team, the leading provider of weather and ocean forecasting services in Canada, to deliver 24/7 meteorological and oceanographic support across North America and beyond. In this role you will analyze, forecast, and communicate weather information for some of the continent’s most extreme regions. You will work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous service for diverse industry sectors.
- Provide verbal and written weather briefings to help clients plan, mitigate, and reduce operational risks.
- Produce multiple daily forecasts for various industry sectors using advanced tools and software.
- Deliver 24/7 on-demand meteorological consultation via phone, email, and chat.
- Continuously monitor evolving weather conditions and perform nowcasting for clients.
- Issue severe weather alerts across North America and conduct post‑event analysis.
- Prepare technical reports, including case studies, seasonal and hurricane outlooks, and post‑storm analyses.
- Work rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Adhere to WSP’s Health, Safety & Environment policies on all sites.

- Hold a B.S. in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science from a WMO‑compliant program.
- Demonstrate strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
- Exhibit critical thinking, collaboration, self‑motivation, and a growth mindset.
- Bilingual fluency in French and English (preferred).
- Experience with GIS, Python, SQL, VBA, Power BI, Tableau, or AI applications (preferred).
- Prior operational forecasting experience or willingness to work offshore on platforms and ships (preferred).
