In this critical, hands‑on role you will ensure equipment performance is reliable and cost‑effective, strengthening our ability to safely achieve manufacturing plans and strategies through your leadership of the maintenance team. You will support the delivery of maintenance priorities across safety, environment, people, leadership, customer satisfaction, strategy, planning and manufacturing excellence, and will travel frequently across North Queensland and the Northern Territory to service regional sites.
- Maintain and manage assets to maximise availability, reliability and meet statutory requirements cost‑efficiently.
- Address and resolve machine breakdowns promptly with a heightened sense of urgency.
- Develop and execute whole‑life asset plans and strategies for regional equipment.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled shutdowns in a well‑planned, timely manner.
- Champion a safety culture of accountability by setting expectations, defining roles and holding team members to high standards.
- Create innovative, sustainable solutions to manufacturing challenges.
- Deliver work that matters to customers and strengthens communities.

You will bring leadership experience or capability within a maintenance function of a manufacturing or heavy‑industry environment. Mechanical trade qualifications, strong communication and influencing skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes and a proven ability to make commercially‑sound decisions are essential, as is a natural curiosity to stay current with advancements in maintenance practices and technologies.
