The position works in a scaled‑agile environment, covering the full software lifecycle from concept to design, implementation, and upgrades. Engineers collaborate with over 1,000 global colleagues to deliver high‑efficiency power solutions, developing both desktop applications and firmware for proprietary hardware.
- Develop desktop software applications that support engineering and customer productivity throughout the product life cycle.
- Build controls platform firmware for proprietary hardware that operates power products.
- Define, develop, and evolve software in a fast‑paced agile environment using C#/.NET or C++/RTOS.
- Apply SDLC, Lean/Agile, CI, security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and testing best practices.
- Utilize software design patterns and collaborate with product owners and systems engineers to translate requirements into solutions.
- Manage multiple software solutions simultaneously and take ownership of small‑to‑medium tasks.
- Create customized documentation for developers and end‑users; employ test‑driven development.
- Proactively share relevant information across the team.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field and demonstrate expertise in C#/.NET or C++ with real‑time operating systems. Experience with software design patterns, Lean/Agile methodologies, test‑driven development, and configuration management tools is required, while knowledge of network protocols, device drivers, Windows desktop programming, WPF, and Angular is highly valued. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities, along with prior work in the Energy domain, are essential.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Knowledge of network protocols and device drivers.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as TFS or GitHub.
- Experience in Windows desktop application development, including WPF and Angular frameworks.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
- Ability to identify misalignments, propose corrective actions, and drive win‑win solutions.
- Prior experience delivering software projects in the Energy sector (e.g., Energy Management, Oil & Gas, Power & Water).
