Enforce procedures across design stages, ensuring peer reviews, verification of Nuclear Safety–related deliverables, and oversight of high-risk items (e.g., P&IDs, one-lines).
Lead assessments, trend nonconformances, conduct root cause analysis, and track corrective actions to closure.
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
Translate procedural requirements into practical steps for engineers and PMs; maintain certifications and advise on evolving standards, tools, and regulations.
Collaborate across estimating, procurement, construction, and warranty to ensure full lifecycle quality coverage; represent quality in client interactions and audit preparation.
Lead and mentor a quality team (up to five), set expectations, provide feedback, and support skill development.
Refine and implement the company QMS to ensure compliance with internal, client, CNSC, and CSA standards (e.g., N285, N286, N299) and ISO 9001; deploy QMS on projects and develop Project Quality Plans.
Identify and escalate risks with clear mitigation options; support dashboard reporting and trend analysis.
Contribute to CSA N286 audits and continuous improvement initiatives; share best practices across districts.
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Willingness to travel to project or district sites (typically monthly).
5+ years of project engineering or quality experience in the Canadian nuclear industry, with a strong technical background aligned to assigned responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analysis tools and quality management software.
Regular, reliable attendance
Experience with CSA standards (N285, N286, N299 series) and ISO 9001; auditing experience under CSA-compliant programs preferred.
Relevant quality certifications preferred (e.g., CNSC auditor/lead auditor, ASQ CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt).
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to support continuous improvement and business alignment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
Ability to analyze trends across datasets and support reporting functions.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (Nuclear or Mechanical preferred); Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province strongly preferred.
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Capable of performing duties that may require standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
