Overview
Manage large‑scale soft landscaping on HS2 site, overseeing contracts and compliance.

What You Bring
Good knowledge of seeding, planting and fencing materials/methods. Experience of managing large scale soft landscaping contracts from design through to construction and establishment. Landscape/ horticultural qualification. Experience of soil handling management. Experience of implementing landscape works from design through to construction and establishment on a large scale. 28 underbridges and 11 underpasses Determination to see tasks through to completion, with excellent planning and organisation skills. Experience of managing landscape construction programmes. Experience in records completion and organisational skills – in view of completion of site check lists. Site experience of large-scale soft landscape implementation (minimum 2 years), working with landscape contractors. 9.3km of viaducts Please note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role. Understanding of landscape specifications, planting schedules, planting plans, master plans and maintenance plans. Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or equivalent. Good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to consult with others and present. Driving licence. Experience and knowledge of large-scale soft landscape delivery on site – including soils suitability, setting out of soft landscape, working with sub-contractors, maintenance inspection and beat up surveys. Project management experience of budgets and construction programme. Good understanding of Health and Safety and Hazard identification. Understanding of construction methodologies, operations, and processes. Experienced required
