Service Manager (Commercial/ Industrial Flooring)

Description

• Develop accounts and territory for the Service Department
• Schedule and manage service crews
• Perform thorough and complete inspections
• Order maintenance supplies as needed
• Conduct minor equipment maintenance
• Utilize computer database for service operations
• Interact directly with customers
• Plan, execute, and ensure customer satisfaction for all service projects
• Communicate performance expectations to employees promptly
• Forecast financial outlook weekly, monthly, and yearly
• Manage service crews and review timesheets
• Obtain respirator medical evaluation and pass fit test
• Provide company vehicle for work use

Requirements

The successful candidate will have knowledge in polished concrete, epoxy or hard surfacing, with the ability to identify floor deficiencies and recommend appropriate repair solutions. The position offers an hourly rate of $25‑$35 per hour plus commissions.

• Apply general flooring and construction experience
• Work effectively both individually and as part of a team
• Demonstrate strong communication and people skills
• Maintain a valid state driver's license in good standing
• Exhibit analytical, leadership, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities
• Prefer comprehensive understanding of the flooring industry
