Reads, reviews, and recommends changes to construction plans, blueprints, block maps, schematics and as-built drawings.
Supervises, selects, develops, trains, evaluates and makes recommendations for corrective action up to and including termination.
Performs various utility calculations and conducts advanced level process control analysis.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with SAWS internal and external customers, vendors, and governmental agencies.
Pass position specific physical testing.
TCEQ Class "B" Wastewater Operator license within 18 months of hire.
Skill in utilizing a personal computer and proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation, and computerized maintenance management system software.
Pass a physical examination for chemical hazards and respiratory protection.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work Zone Traffic Control, Excavation Safety, and Confined Space Awareness and/or certification where applicable.
Valid Class “C” Texas Driver’s License.
High School Diploma/GED plus Eight (8) years’ of progressive experience in construction, water, wastewater or specialty work environment listed below, including two years in a supervisory/lead role.
TCEQ Class "A" Wastewater Operator license.
Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Construction Management, Science, Public Administration or related field from an institution accredited by a recognized accrediting agency plus five years’ progressive experience in construction, water, wastewater or specialty work environment listed below, including two years in a supervisory/lead role.
