In this position you will execute order administration functions within the ERP and Project Accounting modules, review and verify pricing, SKUs, and shipping details, and collaborate with internal departments to resolve purchase‑order discrepancies. You will keep organized records of orders in ServiceNow, support customer inquiries about order status, and identify and escalate any issues that could affect order conversion or satisfaction. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on accurate processing of customer orders while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates possess strong data‑entry abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to efficiency.
Success in this role comes from a proven track record in business order administration or customer service, especially in a distribution center environment. Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights, and excellent communication for coordinating with multiple stakeholders are essential. A detail‑oriented mindset, solid organizational and problem‑solving capabilities, and proficiency with order management systems and Microsoft Office are also important.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree or higher preferred. Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in order entry, data entry, customer service, or a related field, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with ERP or order‑management systems. Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
The position offers a compensation range of $66,000 – $99,000 per year, which includes base pay and a short‑term incentive.
