The Project Manager will prepare scopes of work and proposals, serve as the project manager for geostructural design projects, and oversee profit and loss for assigned projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring accurate project records, and leading a team of engineers specializing in geostructural design. The role also requires delivering engineering calculations and design drawings for foundations, retaining structures, dams, levees, embankments, and associated elements while meeting contractual commitments. Travel may be required.
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a highly driven Project Manager to join our Geostructural Design Services team within our Geotechnical discipline. In this role, you will coordinate and grow our Geostructural Engineering business across the nation, building and leading a team of talented engineers while partnering closely with other Managers and Principals. The position can be based in New York State, Massachusetts, or Connecticut and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Geostructural Engineering who want to lead diverse, multidisciplinary projects.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 8–10+ years of relevant experience; a Master’s degree with a Geotechnical or Structural focus is preferred. PE certification in NY or another state (or ability to obtain within three months), a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, decision‑making, analytical, and communication skills, and has a proven ability to mentor talent and manage projects from concept through completion. Proficiency with geotechnical design software and a clean driving record are also essential.
