Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control of design packages, insisting on the highest standard of quality.
Independently support the team during design and construction stages of projects.

Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM Models using Revit or equivalent BIM program.
Mentor and train junior designers, with a focus on PSP certification attainment.
Lead and mentor a team of Security Designers.
Design low voltage systems for buildings, including Electronic Access Control, Video Security Systems, Intrusion, intercom, and supporting network infrastructure.
Integrate project requirements into mission critical facility designs.
Develop Division 28 Security specifications.
Build bridges across teams, coordinating proactively with other disciplines to prevent rework and schedule delays.
Design Electronic Physical Security systems and coordinate with other design team members on all aspects of security related to projects, including CPTED, site security, gates, guard booths, doors, and door hardware.

Strong communication skills and an interest in liaising with internal and external design, client, and construction team members.
Mission Critical/Data Center experience.
Highly experienced in Physical Security System Design, with a strong background in Revit and AutoCAD.
Proven track record of mentoring and training team members, especially towards PSP certification.
Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter.
Hands-on field experience.
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
Bachelor’s degree (BS) with 10-12 years of relevant experience; OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Experience with international projects.
Demonstrates kW’s leadership principles: client-first engineering, end-to-end ownership, deep attention to detail, gold-standard quality, and cross-team collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience mentoring or training others toward PSP certification.
Experience with applicable software packages including AutoCAD, Revit.
