  • Ensure engineering activities meet cost, schedule, target weight and performance objectives while maintaining traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead root cause investigations, risk assessments, and resolution strategies for stress/F&DT related issues, non-conformances, schedule variance and airworthiness deviations.
  • Establish and govern engineering F&DT analysis best practices, design review frameworks, and technical quality gates across the program lifecycle.
  • Act as the technical voice of the program, aligning customer expectations with engineering deliverables and strategic goals.
  • Lead strategic aerospace engineering engagements for rotary wing platforms, driving technical delivery, innovation, and client satisfaction.
  • Finalize the F&DT technical requirements, limitations and associated tasks within defined timelines, ensuring high-quality output with minimal errors.
  • Analyse complex design challenges and propose optimal engineering solutions aligned with project goals and constraints.
  • Drive digital engineering transformation, championing initiatives around MBSE, MBD, and digital continuity.
  • Act as the primary technical/program level interface with the client, ensuring alignment on F&DT compliance objectives and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Provide technical oversight related to F&DT across multiple concept development, structural architecture, F&DT requirement compliance for detailed design, integration, certification and certification test support.
  • Engage directly with aerospace OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and regulatory bodies, influencing design decisions, compliance strategies, and product lifecycle outcomes.
  • Supervision and approval of method register, F&DT method document, Analysis tools alignment, F&DT certification analysis check lists, certification / test report templates and SLA in alignment with client during the initial execution phase.
  • Drive end-to-end scope definition, requirements management, and traceability across the engineering structural lifecycle related to F&DT justification.
  • Guide the team with interpretation of static analysis results for defining the fatigue critical location, number of calculation points, fatigue sensitive area, primary and secondary load path identification, design philosophy identification, scatter factor selection in alignment with client and regulatory guidelines FAR/CS 25.571, 29.571, MIL-STD-1530 etc.
  • Represent engineering during customer technical audits, program quality gate reviews, and change control reviews.
  • Provide high level competency for the fatigue spectrum derivation for analysis and the subsequent service load and the test load spectrum derivation. Document the procedure as a signed document for reference.
  • Play a key role in shaping engineering processes, delivery governance, and team capability development.
  • Lead effective engineering change management by proactively tracking evolving inputs and shifting requirements. Evaluate and mitigate the impact of delays on schedule variance, resource planning, costs, and milestone achievement through a structured change control process aligned with client approvals and established governance protocols.
  • Ensure effective planning, milestone tracking, and schedule variance analysis to maintain alignment with program delivery goals and importantly internal deal construct parameters or solution baselines.
