The technician will work outdoors for extended periods, operate grounds‑keeping equipment, and follow strict safety protocols. Duties include scheduled weekly work and on‑call support as required by management, with a focus on maintaining high safety awareness.
Basic qualifications require a high school diploma or GED. Level I candidates must complete the Deriva Renewable Academy training within one year, while Level II candidates need two years of related experience and successful completion of Level I performance measures.
Preferred qualifications include an associate or technical degree in electrical construction and maintenance, completion of a solar training program, and additional experience with wind turbines, multiple solar supplier technologies, high‑voltage and sub‑station maintenance, and familiarity with mechanical and electronic testing equipment.
A valid driver’s license and completion of initial training in the Deriva Renewable Academy are required.
