Engineering skills required include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer programming.
Basic knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) requirements for control system installations.
Display knowledge of controls hardware

Ability to implementation systems graphics per project scope
The ability to identify mechanical equipment on drawings the following: Chillers, Boilers, Pumps, AHU’s, FCU’s, VAV’s, and EF’s.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience .
2+ years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in applications engineering preferred.
Understand simple controls networking principles.
Working knowledge of at least one HVAC controls systems (preferably Delta, JCI or Andover)
Be proficient and utilize Visio and or AutoCAD.
Understand basic electrical control circuits including 24VAC power and controller input/outputs.
Experience with control system architecture design, programing, or maintenance desired.
EIT or desire to obtain a PE license a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
