Lead and manage the technical and commercial delivery of Rail Electric Track Equipment- ETE (Third Rail) projects, with a primary focus on rail Switch & Crossing (S&C) Renewal Works.
Design of Positive Feeders and Negative Returns, including traction substation cabling, conductor rail layouts, negative bonding, hook switches, track isolating switches, Cable Routes and Cable Management Sleeper (CMS) systems in line with client specifications.

Deep knowledge of Rail ETE Third rail design, power system analysis, protection setting calculations
Experience in leading projects as a checker, CRE or Lead Engineer
Proficient in use of MicroStation, AutoCAD
Ensure designs comply with all relevant regulations, including CDM and Health & Safety legislation. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team
Chartered Engineer (or actively working towards chartership) with a recognised institution (e.g. IET) or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization
5 - 10+ years of experience in railway Electrification & Power design and delivery
Strong technical writing, Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, design safety principles and risk assessment
A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to lead, mentor and influence others
Experienced in the use of international, UK Network Rail, and Railway Group Standards as well as the relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
