As the Partnership Tax Manager (Asset Management), you’ll conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for your partnership clients – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. You’ll collaborate with the Partnership Tax team and make recommendations on return preparation and tax savings opportunities, focusing on accuracy, quality and client service because together is how we succeed.

Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704b accounts.
Lead multiple client service teams, planning and executing tax projects across industries and delivering innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions while managing budgets.
Develop, train, and mentor staff on tax engagements and conduct performance reviews.
Research and consult on Sub‑chapter K partnership tax matters and use tax software to prepare returns.
Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries.
Communicate proactively with clients to set expectations, meet deadlines, and strengthen relationships.
Support business development through opportunity identification and proposal creation.

You have the following technical skills and qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
6–10 years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience in public accounting or a blend of industry and public accounting.
Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation, and M&A preferred.
Strong analytical and technical skills in US GAAP, partnership, joint‑venture, and non‑corporate entity tax returns with deep knowledge of Sub‑chapter K.
Exceptional client service and communication abilities to build and maintain relationships.
Proven leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring capabilities with excellent written and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a fast‑paced, results‑driven team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
