Superintendent - Site Manager

• Resource Management: Plan and manage site resources, including workforce, equipment, and logistics, to optimise efficiency and productivity.
• Health & Safety: Champion a safety-first culture, enforcing the contractor’s HSE policies and ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international best practice.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues at site level, escalating strategically when required.
• Project Delivery: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, drawings, and international standards.
• Programme Management: Monitor progress against the master schedule, identify risks and delays, and implement effective recovery measures to ensure milestones are achieved.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key interface with project directors, engineers, client representatives, and consultants, providing clear communication and transparent reporting.
• Site Leadership: Direct and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring that work is delivered in line with programme, budget, safety, and quality requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring workmanship and materials meet Tier One contractor standards.

Our client, a world-renowned Tier One main contractor, is seeking experienced Superintendents / Site Managers to oversee the execution of a landmark infrastructure programme in Saudi Arabia. This project forms part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 transformation agenda, delivering critical assets in transport, utilities, and civil engineering. The role offers the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most respected contractors on a long-term, career-defining programme.

• HSE & Quality: Demonstrated commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality, with relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, PMP) an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methodologies, heavy plant operations, temporary works, and sequencing of large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years’ construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent / Site Manager role on major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, utilities, or industrial developments).
• Background: Strong pedigree in Tier One main contracting, with a proven record of delivering complex civil engineering and infrastructure works in the GCC or other international mega-project environments.
• Education: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Leadership: Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, and motivate a diverse workforce in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
