Join BMD and help us connect communities and transform infrastructure.

You will oversee environmental planning and execution, including vegetation removal, flora and fauna protection, erosion and sediment control, and water quality monitoring. You’ll also support quality assurance processes alongside our project team.

  • Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, community groups, and the client, to ensure transparent communication and positive relationships
  • Lead environmental management across the project, ensuring compliance with legislation, approvals, and DIT requirements
  • Promote sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities for environmental innovation
  • Support quality assurance processes in collaboration with the broader project team
  • Complete sustainability data reporting based on client requirements
  • Prepare and maintain environmental documentation, including reports, permits, and monitoring records
  • Provide occasional support to the safety team

We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to manage project based environmental risks, support sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory and client expectations.

  • Demonstrated experience in environmental management within civil infrastructure or construction projects
  • Knowledge of South Australian environmental legislation
  • Strong understanding of flora and fauna protection, water quality, erosion and sediment control, and environmental risk management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, regulators, and community stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Environmental Science, Quality or related discipline.
