Contribute proactively to the BGS PPA growth strategy
Remain highly informed about market trends and changes to policy
Contribute to overall strategic direction of the origination function as part of the wider business
Work closely with traders and the commercial team to develop new products and solutions

Build and sustain BGS’s PPA offtake market presence by successfully leveraging new and existing relationships
Negotiation of sales and structuring efforts for PPA contracts and management of post transaction relationship
Ensure any transactions are compliant with any internal or external standards and policies
Develop Brook Green’s UK trading activity by originating transactions in the UK renewable power markets

Demonstrated experience in negotiating and transacting gas and power structured products including PPAs
Purpose driven and able to work effectively in a busy and complex environment
Strong commercial and numerical acumen with ability to see the bigger picture
Deal-making, decision-maker who is driven by results
An exceptional communicator, both verbal and written able to communicate complex topics to audiences of different skill sets
Commercial experience gained in a similar position demonstrating impeccable judgement, highly effective communication skills and a results orientated mindset
A demonstrated track-record of successfully closed transactions
Energy, or utilities experience preferred
1-5 years of experience in energy trading, renewable energy markets or PPA origination, ideally within UK markets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
