  • Ensuring materials are delivered on time and in the right quantities to meet customer or project requirements.
  • Working seamlessly with dispatch, drivers, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Optimizing loads, routes, and schedules to minimize costs while maintaining service quality.
  • Acting as the central point of contact between drivers, suppliers, and clients to manage last-minute changes and ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensuring that client needs are met promptly, maintaining high service standards despite dynamic conditions.
  • Effectively managing multiple deliveries, orders, and communication channels simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
  • Making informed decisions under pressure to ensure seamless operations and avoid delays.
  • Ensuring all transport operations adhere to safety, legal, and environmental standards.
  • Addressing and resolving logistical issues such as delays, route changes, or equipment breakdowns in real-time.
  • Contributing to customer satisfaction, project success, and operational profitability by maintaining a reliable supply chain.
  • Anticipating potential issues and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruption.

  • Ability to troubleshoot logistical problems (e.g., route changes, vehicle breakdowns, or material shortages) rapidly and efficiently.
  • Good communication and cognitive skills with the ability to negotiate at all levels.
  • Will also ideally have experience of working within a large company environment and achieving targets.
  • Ability to adjust quickly to changing schedules, priorities, and unexpected challenges such as weather disruptions or equipment issues.
  • Good level of English & Maths.
  • Proficient in using logistics software, GPS systems, and other tools to track and optimize deliveries in real-time.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, Syncrotess systems and standard office packages.
  • Staying calm and focused in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Clear and concise communication with drivers, suppliers, and clients to resolve issues and coordinate last-minute changes.
