He/ She will engage in the repair and maintenance of facility and production related equipment. This includes but is not limited to equipment involving automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, relays, and other mechanical and electrical components.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing machinery and facilities related equipment.
Troubleshoots failures involving multiple types of equipment and processes.
Uses a variety of lock-out/tag-out devices as required per plant LOTO Plan.
Carries out preventative maintenance procedures autonomously.
Troubleshoot & Repair Network Lines
Constructs sketches of mechanical or construction alterations/installations and electrical circuitry.
Painting, Drywall, Plumbing, Cleaning, and general building maintenance
Installing Outlets and junction boxes
Communicates recommendations, improvements, and findings both verbally and through work order system.
Installing conduit, pulling power, terminating into electrical panel
Prepares bills of material on jobs requiring major material use and initiates purchase requisitions. .
Determines root cause of failures and can recommend preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and faults and makes necessary repairs.
Communicates consistently with internal customers regarding status of equipment in shop.
Advises supervisor of needs for outside services and works with service representatives on equipment and controls repair and installation. Shows competency in several crafts and performs handyman aspects in all trades.
Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, fork trucks and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material.

Three (3) plus years of experience in Maintenance is preferred.
Experience in running conduit, pulling wire, and terminating into electrical cabinet.
Degree &/or certifications in Electrical/Mechanical skills (or equivalent) preferred.
Knowledge of Hydraulic/pneumatic systems
Comprehension of schematics/blueprints.
Self-starter and motivated to maintain building/machines to 100% uptime via strong preventative activities.
Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred.
Basic electrical skills required.
Can read mechanical and/or electrical drawings and blueprints.
