Parts Assistant

Description

• Supervise parts inventory, purchasing, and invoicing.
• Process daily parts orders, including shipping and receiving.
• Obtain and prepare parts quotes.
• Order and manage inventory for rental equipment.
• Coordinate parts inventory with manufacturers and communicate with vendors for company and customer equipment.
• Verify invoice accuracy.
• Liaise with service departments and schedule deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts warehouse.

Requirements

• Construction or heavy‑equipment industry experience (preferred).
• Budgeting experience.
• Proficient with Excel and spreadsheets.
• Clean driving record for local parts pickup and delivery.
• Strong customer service, organization, time‑management, and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate a forklift/telehandler.
• Capable of lifting 75–100 lb.
