MEP Superintendent II | Mortenson

Description

• Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability
• Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule
• Review and understand contract documents
• Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work
• Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules
• Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment
• Develop a site logistics plan
• Collaborate with project partner superintendents
• Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies

Requirements

• Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level
• Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience
• Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
• Current driver’s license

• Ability to fulfill all responsibilities for multiple, complex data center projects
• Positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering or 10 years trade experience
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor
• Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
