Supervise and mentor electrical staff comprised of engineers and designers
Coordination and verification of as-built drawings
Deliver projects on time and within client budgets
Lead and participate in meetings clients utility service representatives and project teams.
Manage and regularly report on project performance, accruals and utilization
Perform quality work that promotes client retention
Deliver projects in compliance with client and company quality control procedures and engineering guidelines
Preparation of project specifications
Performing site survey of existing system conditions for interface of new designs with existing electrical and control systems.
Design of electrical systems including: low/medium voltage power distribution, standby/emergency generation, interior/exterior lighting for buildings and fire alarm systems
Construction assistance including; electrical shop drawing review, contractor relations, and site surveys

Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, other NFPA codes/standards such as NFPA 820 and energy codes
Experience using Computer Aided Design and Drafting (AutoCAD) is a plus
Minimum Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or Architectural Engineering with Electrical focus
Project management and leadership skills, capable of driving the successful completion of projects is a plus.
Electrical power design experience is required
Capable of driving the successful completion of projects.
Security and communication design experience is preferred
The ability to work independently or in a team environment effectively
8+ plus years of progressive experience in the engineering and design of electrical systems for water and wastewater projects
Experience in Power Studies, such as Short Circuit Study, Coordination Study, and Arc Flash Analysis is preferred
Daily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines
Proficiency using SKM Power Tools Software is preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC or Virginia is preferred or the ability to obtain the PE licenses within one year of employment
Experience with alternative project delivery is a plus
The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Experienced with facility surveys, reports, feasibility studies, design, specifications, cost estimating, and construction activity support.
Building Information Modeling (BIM – Autodesk Revit) experience is a plus
