- Lead investigations into and take action to resolve pest problems
- Take appropriate action to deal with a range of issues and situations as they arise by giving practical appropriate advice or assistance, reporting more complex issues to the Manager for guidance.
- Attend all relevant training courses e.g. practical training, college training and internal training associated with the post
- Liaise with internal and external departments and agencies such as Yorkshire Water
- Support the provision of a pest control service, following work programmes, inspecting and monitoring work progress to effectively and efficiently deliver a fully integrated and comprehensive customer-focused Pest Management service within Estate Services.
- Respond to emergency situations and urgent requests as required and instructed by the Manager/Supervisor within normal day to day hours.
- Update records accurately in line with procedures using IT software packages

- Basic knowledge of COSHH / Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience in the handling of toxic chemicals and the ability to take on physically demanding activities
- A current manual driving licence with basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- You will possess a minimum qualification of RSPH or BPCA Level 2 with a minimum one-year practical experience, alternatively full training will be provided
