The Fire Protection Inspector provides fire inspection services within an assigned area, inspecting fire protection devices, systems, and procedures for proper operation and compliance with standards. The role plans, schedules, and conducts training programs for the Fire/Security Section, maintaining reference files, directives, lesson plans, and training records. In emergencies, the inspector evaluates procedures, acts as safety officer, assists with rescue, fire suppression, and overhaul, and may function as a firefighter or supervise employees and subcontractors as directed.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus nine to twelve years of relevant experience. Required skills include computer proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and specialized applications, as well as intermediate English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, possess a Secret Security Clearance, be NICET Level II certified, and be authorized to work in the country of the position.
The position is a multi‑site resource, requiring travel between sites to perform inspections, reviews, and training in varied environments—from conventional indoor offices to harsh project worksites with demanding living conditions. Physical ability and job‑specific knowledge are essential to meet safety, health, and security requirements.
