Key responsibilities include performing minor repairs, applying various welding processes (arc, gas, aluminum, brazing, soft soldering), and repairing compactors, containers, and carts. The role also involves preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, conducting safety checks, completing paperwork in fleet maintenance software, and assisting senior welders.
The welder performs service calls, flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, and notching of metal and plastic parts, works within Standard Repair Times, follows prints, drawings, and verbal instructions, and uses standard hand tools and measuring equipment. All work must maintain a clean, safe area in compliance with corporate/OSHA standards and established safety procedures.
Required qualifications include at least two years of prior experience. No additional preferred qualifications are listed.
