The Office Project Manager for Renewable Construction works on the Owner’s Representative/Construction Management Services (OR/CMS) team, supporting owners and developers of large utility‑scale renewable projects such as solar PV, wind, BESS, substations, and transmission. The role coordinates engineering, project controls, risk, and documentation from the owner’s side while making periodic site visits.
Core duties include integrating technical and environmental activities into a unified plan, maintaining project baselines, managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and producing status reports, risk registers, and leadership briefings. The manager also oversees QA/QC, commissioning readiness, and ensures compliance with codes, permits, and owner processes.
- Integrate technical, environmental, schedule, and document‑control activities into a cohesive project plan
- Drive multidisciplinary coordination among electrical, civil, environmental, and permitting teams
- Build and maintain project baselines, track milestones, cash flow, and earned value
- Lead RFI/submittal workflows, drawing reviews, comment resolution, and close‑out documentation
- Manage change orders, pay application reviews, and cost forecasting
- Serve as primary Owner contact with EPCs, OEMs, and third‑party providers
- Prepare status reports, risk registers, decision logs, and leadership briefings
- Oversee QA/QC plans, commissioning readiness checklists, and turnover package completeness
- Conduct periodic site visits to validate schedule, safety, quality, and progress
- Resolve field issues through timely office‑driven decisions

Candidates need at least seven years of utility‑scale renewable experience, familiarity with PV, wind, BESS and substation equipment, and proficiency in construction document control tools such as Procore or Aconex, as well as scheduling software. A valid driver’s license, OSHA 30, and willingness to obtain NFPA 70E and First Aid certifications are required, and travel across Texas is expected.

- Technical familiarity with PV modules, trackers, inverters, MV transformers, substations, and BESS/SCADA
- Proficiency with Procore, Aconex, SharePoint, MS Project or Primavera, and Microsoft Office
- Strong contract, RFI, submittal, change‑order, schedule, budget, and risk management skills
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR/AED (or willingness to obtain)
