Heating Air Conditioning (HVAC) Specialist

• Draft and manage RFPs and vendor proposals for HVAC projects
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (including VRF/VRV, VAV, and RTUs)
• Recommend and implement improvements to system efficiency and performance
• Coordinate with vendors for major repairs, service contracts, and equipment upgrades
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance based on manufacturer standards or better
• Keep accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation

8–10+ years of HVAC experience in commercial property or facilities

We’re seeking a highly skilled Building HVAC Specialist to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems across a large campus. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to facilities operations.

• Must meet all physical and health requirements for building operations roles
• Daikin certification is a plus
• Technical/vocational training or degree in HVAC or mechanical systems
• EPA Certification (Type I & II required)
• Manage and calibrate building automation systems (Johnson Metasys, Tridium Jace preferred)
• Proficient with building automation systems (Metasys, Tridium Jace a plus)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
