Manage SharePoint add-on products utilizing SharePoint Admin Console and PowerShell.
Adhere to project management fundamentals (initiate, plan, execute, close) for SharePoint-related projects; participate in effective project planning, needs assessments, scope/design/model planning, creation of statements of work, change management, etc.
Design, develop, configure, and deploy MS SharePoint-based solutions integrating front and backend systems using disparate MS SQL databases.
Provide web portal support, development, and design initiatives with a strong emphasis on back-office content management and web-based solutions.
Work with standard ASP.NET technologies, SharePoint object model and web service interfaces, SharePoint feature packaging and deployment.
Develop custom applications/components where appropriate to support enterprise projects or leverage Out of The Box (OOTB) SharePoint features and functionality.
Create and maintain documentation that includes the organization's SharePoint design, requirements, and user manuals.
Deliver and optimize standard features (search/indexing, content management, Shared Service Providers).
Develop connectors to consume and interface with external lines of business application data for mission-critical applications.
Design, develop, and maintain custom components such as site pages, web parts, workflows, user controls, and forms for corporate intranet websites and public portals deployed to SharePoint environments.
Provide day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of SharePoint and related enterprise business systems, including performance optimization, change request modifications, and related development activities.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems related to SharePoint systems and delivery.
Develop, update, maintain, and provide related SharePoint systems configuration, including SQL database administration and support.
Manage employee and stakeholder requests for SharePoint-related IT assistance and ensure timely resolution.
Deliver solutions using SharePoint workflows, web service interfaces, SQL Reporting Services, business intelligence (BI), and other related technologies.
Gather relevant information and regularly update managers and teammates regarding progress, risk management, potential business impact, resource management, timing, overruns, etc.
Keep current on the latest trends and developments in SharePoint and M365, sharing best practices and insights with peers and clients.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior management, vendors, customers, and regulators, as they relate to SharePoint projects.
Consult with stakeholders to understand problems and implement effective SharePoint solutions.
Ensure complex customer needs are monitored, addressed, documented, and resolved promptly and effectively.
Liaise between Corporate and practitioner communities to provide support and keep abreast of current and emerging SharePoint technologies, tools, software, development, and database trends.
Work collaboratively with other IT operating segments, development, and operations teams to implement SharePoint solutions and resolve issues.
Endorse and maintain compliance with the firm’s enterprise security program as it relates to SharePoint and participate in routine audits and risk assessments related to the position.

Advanced experience investigating and resolving SharePoint performance issues, such as front-end web server performance, indexing performance, and working with SQL. (required)
Proficiency with systems-related diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, including new installs, upgrades, optimizations, and general day-to-day operations. (required)
Ability to lead moderate to complex SharePoint projects from scope initiation through completion. (required)
Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting relevant systems and software applications, including multi-platform operating systems and third-party applications. (required)

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science from an accredited college or university, along with a minimum of seven (7) years minimum of IT industry-related experience or over eleven (11) years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework in the field or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Technical certifications relevant to SharePoint administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) are preferred.
Must have a firm understanding of the SharePoint project life cycle and can act effectively as a technical lead as needed. (required)
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build the business from a technical and professional level. (required)

Advanced experience migrating SharePoint On-Premises and SharePoint Online utilizing ShareGate.
Advanced experience in SharePoint SPO and/or PnP PowerShell modules to configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks. (preferred)
Communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels within the firm regarding SharePoint and related technologies.
Advanced experience in SharePoint operations, including virtualization, identity management, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance as they relate to SharePoint. (required)
Advanced experience troubleshooting issues in a growing, multiple classifications, multiple enclave environment, including SharePoint configuration and web part issues. (required)
