The role provides comprehensive financial operations support, encompassing invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, journal entries, month‑end close, expense management, and system coordination.
Key duties include preparing client invoices, tracking payments, validating timesheets, processing vendor invoices and reimbursements, reconciling credit‑card charges, recording daily transactions, and assisting with bank deposits and receipts.
The position also supports journal entry creation, monthly reconciliation of bank and balance‑sheet accounts, internal reporting for budgets and spending, and maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
Required competencies include strong attention to detail, effective time management, clear communication, problem‑solving, technical proficiency with financial software and Excel, adaptability, ethical conduct, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, possess 0–2 years of relevant experience, and demonstrate basic accounting knowledge, organization, and multitasking abilities. Nice‑to‑have experience includes work in a small business or professional‑services setting, exposure to month‑end close or audit preparation, and familiarity with time‑based billing or project accounting.
