The Safety Manager will join the Kewaunee site leadership team and lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety programs at the Kewaunee Fabrications facility in Wisconsin. This on‑site role works closely with a unionized production workforce to foster a safe, respectful, and high‑performing environment.
In this position, you will guide health and safety initiatives, collaborate with management to create accountability programs, assess risks, and establish training, measurement, and reward systems that reinforce employee safety. You will also direct the Safety Representative Program, ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and drive the facility’s progress through the Safety Management System (SMS).
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field and has at least five years of safety leadership experience, with seven or more years being preferred. Union experience is advantageous, and certifications such as CSP, CHMM, CIH, or PE, as well as experience with OSHA’s VPP program, are highly valued.
