Conduct field service calls for breakdowns or emergency repairs.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles.
Perform component replacements, rebuilds, and adjustments (brakes, steering, transmission, etc.).
Operate diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify malfunctions.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate service and repair records.
Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Perform preventative maintenance services and inspections per company schedule.

3+ years of diesel or heavy equipment mechanic experience (construction preferred).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform work that involves frequent standing, bending, and climbing.
Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
Welding and fabrication skills a plus.
MSHA, OSHA, or similar safety training a plus.
Valid driver’s license required; May require CDL or DOT Medical Card
