Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with attention to quality, budget and schedule
Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
Work under the direction of a Project Manager to lead the roadway design discipline and to coordinate and integrate the other associated design disciplines on projects
Interface with coworkers to achieve shared success
Prepare studies, reports, memos, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects

Professional Engineering license in state of employment or ability to obtain within one year of hire
Solid written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria
Proficiency using Bentley and/or Autodesk civil design software
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is a plus
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
Knowledge of DOT standards and plan preparation procedures
5-10 years of experience in roadway transportation engineering
