Requirements

• Experience with automating various manufacturing processes
• Experience in the field of image processing applied to the manufacturing sector.
• Knowledge of Keyence, Cognex, Basler, CCS products.
• Experience in selecting components for an industrial vision system (lighting, optics, image sensor)
• Must be willing to work out of an office located in Niskayuna, NY
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, automated production engineering, robotics, computer science or other related specialization
• Experience with factory automation systems
• Proficiency in one or more of these languages: Python/C/C++
• Experience with UR industrial robots,
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this position opening.
• Proficiency in robot programming
• Experience working in automation with FANUC industrial robots
• Have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in building and deploying robotic systems in the context of manufacturing equipment and processes
• Proficiency in one or more of these vision programming environments: Halcon, Cognex
• Must be 18 years or older
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the applied use of machine vision algorithms in industrial environments
• Have experience in the manufacturing sector
• Knowledge of PLC programming
