Construction Superintendent

Description

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite environment
• Verify all work is completed according to plans, codes, and project standards
• Lead site meetings, walkthroughs, and progress updates
• Work closely with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to keep the project aligned
• Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff
• Review drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes
• Oversee all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through close-out
• Develop, manage, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Support subcontractor onboarding and performance evaluations
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure full OSHA compliance
• Ensure smooth project turnover and participate in punch-list completion
• Track materials, deliveries, manpower, and daily logs
• Manage site reports, RFI coordination, and inspections as needed
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high-quality workmanship
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
• Assist with site logistics planning, equipment needs, and sequencing

Requirements

• Experience across office, healthcare/medical, religious, and storage builds
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
• Strong track record with commercial ground-up and renovation projects
• 5–8 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent
• Must be local to the Dallas area with experience delivering projects across DFW
