Project Leads lead day‑to‑day project responsibilities, including design coordination with consultants and internal teams, organization of construction documentation, and collaboration with the QA/QC team to ensure comprehensive project review. They create, review, and approve concept designs, assign tasks, maintain schedules, mentor junior staff, and support business development opportunities.
The Project Lead serves as the key point person on a project team, reporting to the Project Manager or Project Executive. This role requires strong design and technical abilities, self‑directed performance across all design phases, and responsibility for schematic design, design development, contract documents, Revit and Sketch‑Up modeling, renderings, and construction administration within established budget, schedule, and programmatic requirements.
Candidates must hold a professional Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, possess at least seven years of relevant experience, and have completed a minimum of five projects from schematic design through construction administration. Required technical skills include Revit, 3‑D modeling, BIM proficiency, and strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Additional qualifications include a valid driver’s license, NCIDQ or ARE plus LEED certification, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
