Generate BESS and it’s AC side BOS tender documents.
Conduct energy modeling, performance simulations, degradation assessments, and lifecycle analysis.
Keep abreast with latest technological trends for better efficiency and Lower costing.
Optimize cost/Cost reduction
The BESS Engineering team member will be responsible for the technical design, engineering, and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across the company’s renewable energy portfolio. This role will drive technical due diligence, system architecture, vendor evaluation, detailed design, and support project execution from concept to commissioning, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective deployment of BESS projects.
Organize meetings with the vendor / consultants at a common place to cut short delays.
Decide on Optimal BESS configuration and Future augmentation of upcoming Projects.
Detail Engineering of AC + DC side of BESS till 33kV, Layouts, PPC, PCS, Battery management System & auxiliary system engineering.
Evaluate New Battery technologies.
Review RTC energy Estimates and decide on BESS sizing, Configuration & BOM
Coordinate will all the engineering functions to lead assigned projects.
Prepare optimal BOM’s of BESS + it’s AC side equipment for cost estimate
Review and Evaluate Bids to prepare TER.
Conclude detailed engg of awarded BESS packages in time.
Strong knowledge of battery technologies (Li-ion, LFP, NMC), PCS/EMS systems, and grid interconnection requirements.
Should be thoroughly aware of protection systems of AC+ DC side of BESS till 33kV.
Value based engineering. (Layout, Sizing optimization)
