Senior Construction Project Estimator - Multifamily

Senior estimator managing bids & budgets for multifamily construction projects.
Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes.
Prepare a WBS and written scopes of work by reviewing projects, breaking subsections out by division, and writing scopes to propose for bids.
Manage the bidding process and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
Resolve cost differences by analyzing and collecting information related to each geographic locations property type location
Manage and facilitate the project RFP by creating a WBS and Bid Packages with assigned cost codes.
Draft and present budgets, reports, and project plans to team and other relevant stakeholders.
Complete assigned tasks by deadlines and communicate any obstacles with your supervisor in advance.
Stays up to date with building codes and improvements in construction processes and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of cost estimates and bids.
Generate ROM level pricing packages as well as fully estimated project budgets using takeoffs and cost data.
Develop bids for construction projects.
Consult with project managers, PreCon, and subcontractors to gather information and clarify project details.
Gather and analyze information from project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project costs.
Minimize scope gaps and overlaps, in estimated budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications for commercial multifamily and residential construction projects, which may include retail space.

Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties.
