The role centers on managing outpatient medical properties while also supporting senior‑housing and lab assets as needed. It combines technical expertise, project‑management oversight, budgeting, and communication to ensure capital is deployed efficiently, facilities remain reliable, and emergencies are handled promptly.
- Provide technical support to property management and building engineers.
- Conduct regular property condition assessments and due‑diligence evaluations.
- Review preventative‑maintenance performance to identify capital needs and drive improvements.
- Oversee capital‑improvement projects as owner’s representative, managing budgets, schedules, and third‑party teams.
- Deliver regular project updates and attend key milestone meetings.
- Support leasing by responding to tenant MEP inquiries and guiding fit‑out planning.
- Develop and execute portfolio capital strategy and track year‑to‑date spend.
- Lead emergency‑response planning and communication for natural‑disaster events.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and identify opportunities to reduce utility consumption.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and provide guidance to operators.
Requirements

Successful candidates will hold a relevant engineering or construction degree, possess at least four years of experience in mechanical/structural engineering or facility management, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Physical readiness, advanced Excel proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 30 % are also required.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, construction management or architecture (preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in engineering, construction, project management or facility management.
- Experience with capital planning and cost estimating.
- Superior verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to safely navigate ladders, rooftops, crawl spaces and walk up to 10 miles per day.
- Ability to work remotely, travel up to 30 % and collaborate both independently and in teams.
