Looking for a Wi-Fi Development Lead / Architect to drive the design, development, and evolution of our next-generation wireless connectivity platform. This role combines deep technical expertise in Wi-Fi technologies (802.11 standards, PHY/MAC, drivers, firmware, networking stack) with strong leadership in system architecture, performance optimization, and team mentorship.
Applicants for employment in the US must have valid work authorization that does not now and/or will not in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the US by Capgemini.
- 15 years of experience in embedded software or network stack development, with 5+ years focused on Wi-Fi.
- Own Wi-Fi driver and firmware development for embedded platforms (Linux/OpenWRT/RTOS).
- TCP/IP stack, L2/L3 networking, VLANs, QoS, DHCP, NAT, DNS.
- Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and Wi-Fi Alliance certifications.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or acting as a system architect.
- Integration with chipsets (MXL, Qualcomm, Broadcom, Mediatek, etc.).
- Embedded Linux / OpenWRT / SDK-based Wi-Fi stacks.
