Electronic Systems Security Mid-Level Technician with Security Clearance

Description

• Ensuremonitoringandtimelyresolutionofserviceandrepairissues. Maintains appropriate records as required.
• Instructsemployeesintheuseofsystems.Establishesandcoordinates alarm codes and keeps a record of those having access to such codes.
• Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
• Assists with security assessments, technology upgrades, product selections,testing,fieldverificationofsystemsandinspectionofworkin progress for compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Assistwith3rdpartysecuritysystemsintegrationandsoftwareupdates and helps train other personnel in the use of these systems.
• Assistswithissuing,assigning,andremovingaccessrightsforaccess control cards (PIV, non-PIV, visitor, etc.).
• Maintainsinventoryofessentialpartsandequipmenttoensurerepairs and installations in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Demonstratetheabilitytoexerciseconsiderablejudgementand initiative.
• Knowledgeofothersecuritydisciplinesandtheirrelationshiptothe electronic and physicalsecurity programto respond to and troubleshoot system problems.
• Must be proficient in English, both written and verbal, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• CSEIP (Certified Systems Engineer ICAM PACS) Certified preferred, or MUST be able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Requires a Top-Secret clearance.
• Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Demonstratetheabilitytocomprehendtechnicallanguage,read,and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Demonstratetheabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatebothinwritingand verbally.
• Be authorized to work in the US or will be authorized by the successful candidate’s start date.
• Knowledge and experience of compliance with industry standards, policies, and guidelines such as: physical and electronic security; access and key control; HSPD; NIST SP; FICAM; OMB; and ISC.
• Makesureequipmentisupdatedandoperational,meetingrequired local, state, federal, and ADA requirements.
